On Basic and Pro you can add single seats and Boxes to your monthly subscription instead of jumping a tier. Each add-on is monthly, quantity-based, and itemized on your invoice. When add-ons would cost as much as the next tier, we show you the upgrade and the exact savings — the choice stays yours.

How the free start actually works
- Request access — the owner reviews every request.
- Approved accounts receive a secure activation link (valid 72 hours) to set a password and log in.
- After full activation you get a $5 spendable test credit (valid 30 days) — no card is ever collected for the trial.
- Your default Box is provisioned automatically; it shows Preparing before Ready.
- The 14-day trial clock starts at activation. When it ends, your data stays visible and safe — new AI work pauses until you upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is a 14-day trial with no payment method collected — checkout is only involved if you later choose Basic or Pro. After full activation you also receive a $5 spendable test credit, valid for 30 days.
What happens when my 14-day trial ends?
Your workspace becomes read-only: Boxes, workflows, outputs and history stay visible and nothing is deleted, but new AI work pauses. Upgrading to Basic or Pro resumes everything exactly where it stopped.
Do plans include usage credits?
No — a plan renewal only renews your plan (seats, Boxes, channels and the other entitlements). It never adds usage credits to your balance. Usage credits come from one-time top-ups ($20/$50/$100), which never expire, or from your own provider keys (BYOK, never billed as Pack usage). New accounts also receive a $5 one-time test credit after activation.
What if I need just one more seat or Box?
Add it as a monthly add-on — +1 AI seat, +1 hosted Box (standard or enhanced), or +1 co-worker seat — billed on the same subscription and itemized on your Paddle invoice. If your add-ons would cost as much as the next tier, we show the upgrade with exact savings; you can still keep the single add-on.
What is BYOK and is it billed?
Bring Your Own Key lets you connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or OpenRouter keys and pay the provider directly. BYOK calls are never billed as Pack usage and carry no dpanel.ai markup.
Which channels are available?
Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp and Email are supported after the required account or bot configuration. The workspace truthfully shows each channel as disconnected until a real connection succeeds.
How does Early Access work?
You request access and the owner reviews it. Approved accounts get a secure 72-hour activation link; after full activation you receive the $5 test credit and a default Box that shows Preparing before Ready. Pending requests do not have credit, a Box or execution yet.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund & cancellation policy linked below for the full terms.
